    Hag Stones or Holey Stones

    Thursday, May 10, 2007, 03:52 PM [General]

Holey Stones are unique; there are no two alike, each stone has it's own natural distinctions. Each Stone has at least one naturally occurring penetrating hole. These holes are designed and crafted by Nature using natural tools of water, wind, wave action, sea or water creature, and erosion. Man cannot replicate the Talismanic powers of a Holey Stone and only a true Holey Stone with such power can be used as a talismanic amulet. Holey Stones have Magickal properties and have long been used as Stones of protection and healing. They are ancient and as such have connections to a great many Legends, Myths and Folklore. Holey Stones are also known as Hagstones, Odin Stones, Holy Stones, Wish Stones, Nightmare Stones, Witch Riding Stones, Mare Stanes, Ephialtes Stones, Faery Stones, Eye Stones, Pledge Stones and Goddess Stone.
